The rest of the country is having a record heat wave… mean while back in Boulder County Colorado it has been raining off and on with cooler temperatures. The moisture coming up from Hurricane Alex. Love seeing these teepee’s around Boulder County. Here is a photo of one at sunset. Taken in vertical and landscape. These things are cool. I had the pleasure of sleeping in one for the first time and it’s definitely an experience.

Communication Satellite Dishes to the StarsA long exposure layered image of Stars buzzing by two Satellite Communication Antennas to the sky. This was taken last night during the Perseid Meteor Shower in Boulder County Colorado. There is one falling in this but it is too hard to see. It was a very clear night and the funny part is I kept seeing these big flashes behind me. Thinking it was the meteors… turns out lightning was striking on the East horizon. Amazing.
