Boulder County, Colo. – Colorado Children’s Day at Boulder is this Friday, April 30 from noon until 4 p.m. on the Pearl Street Mall between 13th and 15th streets. The event is completely free and activities include puppet making, face painting, games, prizes and more.
Children’s Day is followed by Boulder County Family Week, a celebration of local youth beginning Saturday, May 1 and continuing through Friday, May 7. Family Week highlights children-focused businesses, agencies and support systems in Boulder County. Information sharing is encouraged for children-focused services and opportunities.
“These events are to reflect on the special value that our children bring to our lives and our future,” local Kiwanis Club chairman Ken Hotaling said. “We all need to celebrate their accomplishments and nourish them in their quest to learn.”
